A stunning example of visionary art, this painting depicts the Greenman--a Middleworld spirit of regeneration and consort/protector of Mother Nature--at the crossroad of Spring. With Raven looking on, we see the Greenman as he is about to coax the trees back to life with his faery flute...or perhaps this ethereal music is meant to lure us back to into relationship with Nature!
Their leafy faces may be seen peering down to us from the heights of European, cathedrals from the early medieval period. Cathedral builders cleverly included familiar imagery from the earlier, Nature-based, shamanic cultures predating Christianity in an effort to bring more people into the Church.
In our contemporary shamanic world, we know that Spirit Peoples such as greenmen, fairies and elves are powerful beings with whom we can work in partnership to transform toxins in our environment. It is why we enter into respectful relationship with them for our Medicine for the Earth work.

WindSpirit is an original painting by visionary artist Evelyn C. Rysdyk. The image depicts a yellow-shafted flicker flying through a mandala of feathers from many different birds including hawks, grouse and raven. In the center, the face of the wind lovingly keeps the bird aloft.
